Jay & Laura Laffoon are real people with real lives walking through a real marriage. As marriage edu-tainers, combining education with entertainment, the Laffoons put their real marriage on display. Where marriage courses focus primarily on the education, Jay and Laura explore the realities that marriage brings to our everyday lives. Through music, comedy, and banter, Jay and Laura offer a refreshingly honest look at their real marriage. The Laffoons on-stage transparency gives couples permission to laugh with each other and courage to continue building their futures together. I can remember when I got married. I can remember where I got married. But there are days when for the life of me I cannot remember WHY I got married!! All married people, if they are honest with themselves and their spouses, will admit to having that thought at one time or another. Jay and Laura are no different!

After meeting on a blind date in 1984 on a memorable evening in Atlanta, Georgia, their brief courtship has transformed into a daily marital celebration. Ministering together in Youth for Christ for 15 years, the Laffoons gained tremendous insight into marriage and family issues. Jay and Laura will encourage, inspire, and challenge you to Celebrate Your Marriage™.
Jay grew up in Petoskey, Michigan, and attended Taylor University, graduating with degrees in Biblical Literature and Music. Jay served as an Executive Director in Youth for Christ for 15 years. He is one of a handful of certified Dynamic Communications International instructors.
Laura grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, and attended Montreat Anderson College and Belhaven College, graduating with a degree in Social Ministries.
